rustprooflandyracer:
Footman James, insured myself when 17, on my own policy, 3000miles P.A, third party fire and theft £550 on a SWB series 3.

clbarclay:
When my brother turned 17 (or there abouts) our insurance broker reckoned a series land rover to be one of the cheapest vehicles to insure, but then that was with NFU so you expect them to know what a land rover is.

edy:
try arthur marsh and sons the transit insurence has actually gone down this year :D  (we use the birmingham based one)
dont no if they will do the series any good but give them a try.

Fuddy as muck:
Try Lancaster Insurance. Not sure on their youth policy but they are the cheapest classic insurance i found.
