St George
screwy:
As you may have gathered I am quite proud of my country, England, and without getting into politics (it's banned y'know!) and rightly so, I want to wish you all a Happy St George's Day in advance of April the 23rd.
I also want to draw your attention to the petition below, to make April the 23rd a National Holiday in line with much of the rest of the western world.
Furthermore, there are some other relevant links to organisations promoting patriotism and pride in the greatest country on earth, England.
"There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word,
which means more to me than any other.
That word is ENGLAND." - Sir Winston Churchill

thermidorthelobster:
Yebbut St Patrick wasn't Irish either... but you can't say the Irish don't celebrate him enthusiastically.
And in 1893 the Pope of the day decreed St Peter as the patron saint of England. So when's his day?
Bunnie:
