Checker plate or paint

I have a bright white disco ! was thinking of either black checker plate on the bonnet , or painting the raised part matt black, what do people think ? or has anyone any pictures of something similar ?

Both would look nice but think black checker would look even better  :wink:

Paints easier to curve round :wink:

Mine is painted at the mo and looks cheap.
I am getting some chequer cut to folow the double curve. Thinking of having it chemicaly blacked too 8)
