Having done some homework on this for the SJ, the short answer is:

No.

However:
If your vehicle did not originally have doors, you still don't need them (this is how jeeps do it)

And you don't need very much door. You know, a bit of tape or a kindof u-shaped bit fulfill the legal requirements. As long as you have something to notionaly keep you in the car, you are ok.

It'll have a full external cage by then and i've already got harnesses to keep me well strapped in, might have to look into getting some half doors then

Get two piece doors.  They are far more fun than the evil windy windy doors that rot to pieces that are found on later 90 and 110 vehicles.  :wink:

The rockcrawler boys use tube doors that hinge in the normal place, use the locking mechanism, but are only a tube top and middle. Should do the trick?
