interesting,my drivers seat (electric) works in all directions except the lowering/raising of the rear of the seat (rear of the horiontal switch),so does that mean i have a broken rail?
if that's the case, can it be repaired/replaced,or is it a case of fitting a whole new subframe?
thanks in anticipation

Probably not. If the rails were broken, when you used the brake or accelerator, the whole seat would lunge back and forward in an alarming manner. You probably have a broken switch, motor, or loose wiring.

Hmmmm
interesting this, when i press the switch in either direction you can feel it click, and the seat moves very, very slightly in each direction,so from that i guess the switch/motor and electrics are all OK,if i had to have a guess it feels like it's jammed :?:
but after a thorough look, cant see anything untoward.??????????????????
the rest of the seat works fine in all directions and heating department, just the back tilt/raise ? :x  :x
