Diff lock

(1/2) > >>

theross:
Hi fellas.  I've just got a bobtailed classic with a 4 speed manual box.  which posisition should the diff lock plunger be in to engage it.  I'm guessing up but thought I'd check.

J.D.:
If it is the same sort of set up as my Disco, push the t/gearbox lever to the left (if you are looking at it) to engage difflock and to the right to disengage.

Range Rover Blues:
No it's the 4 speed with vac operated diff-lock and IIRC you push it to engage.

Easy way to check it (which you should do anyway) is lift up a wheel and see.

theross:
Brilliant guys thanks for the advice.  So down is on, glad I haven't done many miles with it engaged!!!
