lift kit and tyre advice

got me red one for daily use etc, this one just got is for fun but will still be used for carting kids about etc. just fancied a lift for the look but at the same time am a little concerned about the road handling, could fit castor corection bushes but then the front prop may suffer, just wanted a happy medium like bigger tyres and lift to take them. but dont want to get into triming arches, seen britpart and bearmach springs with procomp shocks as a kit for £200, wondered what these were like and what tyres could safely be matched. got an understanding mrs too that likes the idea .lucky eh. cheers alan.....
