its mainly on road now. going for wider tyres isnt a smart move really, but im going for the look really. fuel consumption will go up, and wear and tear on a lot of kit. when offroad i dont do the challenging things anyway. i'll give these a go and see what happens. :D :D :D :D

dave, sounds to me like your gonna waiste a lot of money for stuff that your not gonna need, dont let your heart rule your head, a 13.5 wide tyre is way over the top for a disco, unless your plannig a route round iceland on the glasiers

does anyone have any experience with maxxis tyres? any good? they are a pretty big name, but havnt heard much about. i know their mountain bike and quad bike tyres are really good.
also, would the standard 300tdi high range lug these 33X13.50's about ok? would the Tbox stand up to it for a little while? and whats the best defender box to plop in there? cheers :D
