Disco - Insurance ..... for a 20 year old

<< < (3/5) > >>

bensonsnuts:
One good tip I picked up on the performance sites is to add an older person ( by older I mean 40-60ish ) as a named driver on your policy .
Even if they never get in the car this can lower your insurance .

landybear:
Yeah i have noticed that when i was doing a few quotes online. My dad will drive it occasionally when i let the old boy!! Looks like a day on the phone on Thursday then when i finish for easter (university hols!!).

JimsMowing:
What sort of cover do you need? TPFT? Fully Comp? This will obvisouly have a huge bearing affect on how much you pay. Me im with Direct Line, the do a decent service, and the quote wasnt bad either. Im 26, its on a business policy, with full no claims protected and i pay £480 F/C.

landybear:
It will be fully comp. what about offroad cover? I guess no insurers give a damn if you wrap it round a tree!! as its your fault??

windowlicker:
do a search for ecarinsurance i found them fairly cheap and they even do a one month policy that if you renew for eight months you get a years no claims and you dont have to fork out a deposit which on a twelve month policy is normally a killer
