Funny thing though, on the mountain bike it depends on which end, ont eh front we had them poiting forewards so that the outside edge bites inwards to keep grio whilst cornering but the back faces the opposite way, so that it grips when you are pedealling in a bend but slips out if you hit the brakes hard.

yeah i run my tyres on my BMX backwards as it gives me more grip, i know your not ment to but hey what the hell it makes the tyre go bulder but what the hell 13quid for a tyre u cant complain lol
i also love the rwor of the tyre on backwards :D

Used to run the front tyres on the race car 'backwards'. It improved braking grip while the rears were the correct way round for maximum grip under acceleration. Wouldn't work on a front wheel drive or 4x4 though :lol:

I used to run the front tyres backwards on my BMW 325i on track days. Funny thing was, I was the first person to do it once at castle coombe, I did a couple of laps and came back in and there 10 other people with the front of thier cars up swapping the wheels from side to side!

nah, i was just curious :) seen people with them fitted both ways around!
will fit some once we've got other stuff sorted... but to be honest i might just skip the insa turbos and just bang 35" simex on it ;)
