Her other half's new Focus, TBH the cleanest car in our family, £15 :shock:

So I'ma  bit dubious about casuing a fuss, it could have been a lot worse.  It only yake Gordon to work out that if he bings in a tax band for 3 litres and above, then hit that hard and we are stuffed.

At least the TDis will be safe, otherwise he will have to hit every white van in the country, every big German Diesel saloon, crikey, he'd get linched.

BTW, have you noticed how the Gov't is very good at leaking their intentions, it's never an official statement but a leak, so that it rides the back of public opinion.

We get to hear that the budget will hit just the gas-guzzling 4x4, so the antis think they have won.

When the truth comes out, everybody looses.

Anyone now if there is a car in production that falls into tax band A?
