POTASH:
ive had problems with my clutch, it would start to go[ ie crunching gears]   if i bled it everything was fine again, it started doing it yesterday so i bled it now theirs nothing there i cant even get it in gear, im going to change the slave cylinder first, is this an easy job

Disco-Ron:
Simple answer.. yes, from memory, 2 bolts and a hydraulic connection.....

Range Rover Blues:
OOOh, sounds a bit like a selector fork :(

Clutch slave, 2 bolts plus the piep which is a b***** sometimes

Master, 2 bolts plus the ecentric bolt on the pedal.

When installed you may have to blled form the pipe union on the master for a while, otherwise you'l be there all night.

dave_2A_2.25Turbo:
On my 200 I had the same problem - it was the rigid pipe from the damper to the slave.  The vibration of the engine had fractured the flare inside the fitting at one end - the leak was unnoticeable for ages.

A pain when 150 miles from your flaring kit!   But a very nice man in Grantham re-flared it for me FOC.

POTASH:
decided to have one more go to bleed my clutch before i put another slave cylinder on, just kept doing it for ages, all of a sudden something came out only what i can describe as looking like chipfat it was thick stuff my clutch is now great, ive kept thestuf in a jar, any one got an idea what it could be
