my boost guage is plumbed in at the inlet manifold not at the turbo, so im getting a true pressure at the inlet side

--- Quote from: "stageonesimmo" ---My 300 (don't know for sure if the 200 is the same) has the boost gauge running straight out of the waste-gate outlet at the main turbo outlet.  This is due to me moving the waste-gate pipe to the unused hole at the rear of the plenum chamber so that the gate opens when there is 1.2 bar at the valves, not just the turbo outlet.  Made quite a difference to mine........

So.... if the actuator and the fueling are controlled off the pressure in the inlet manifold itself... wouldn't it be better to run the gauge from the same place??  Just a thought...

As mentioned.... 1 bar, or even 1.1bar is fine on a healty 200tdi...
