Oz:
Hay guys just got a 1990 disco v8 with lpg conversion (carb)  what can i do to make her a bit more water tolerant? apart from snorkle

Range Rover Blues:
Milk bottle wrapped around the dizzy to deflect splashes.

White grease/chain oil on the dizzy cap and lead ends, plus the coil.

In a scrappy cut some ends off the coil fittings in a Ford, they push over the screw terminals on the coil and make them ater-resistant.  Better still they make any sparks have to travel much further thusd preventing arcing when the coil gets wet.  You need 2 off the -ve side as Ford coils have different size terminals, so that idiots can't get it wrong without REALLy trying.

Oz:
sounds good any one got any pics

Skibum346:
Make sure your ignition parts are really up to spec... i had a beastie that hated water...ona dark Welsh hillside....with  crowd of delayed off roaders around me... I found out why... the leaeds looke like blackpool illuminations!
