Well, he did at least meet me at the services on the M1, can you believe he then asked me if i would cover HIS diesel costs as he didn't have to drive to meet me..... it was HIS bloody cock-up [Edited]......

All he could say was... well??? your tyres will still fit won't they?? yeh, but i want 8inch rims, not bloody 7's.... thats why i drove for four hrs..... to55er....

I had the same problem with a set of 16inch rims which turned out to be 15's :roll: However they only cost me £10 and I cleaned them up and sold them on to fudge, managed to recover my costs.

Well, i know that now.... i did re-read the advert on the way home and think i sould have known better.....

I should have asked him to photograph the casting on the inside of the rims where the sizes are.....

Oh well.. live and learn eh!!
