Wow it sounds pretty good.  Is it as good as it sounds?

That link showed the comparison between the 300TDI & the 2.8 but how does it compare to a TD5? :?

TD5 has 122BHP@4200 and 221lbft@1950

So the 2.8 has better specs... but it puts you up into the next road tax category!

Does anyone have any info on the 2.8 iveco unit in the santana? i think that put outs a fair bit of torque and sounds ripe for tweaking. Anyone know of any conversions?
