nice set up matt! im thinking about champion winches, they seem a little bit cheaper than the rest. have you used it yet? how is it? which winch did you go for, cos i dont know what weight to get. im guessing the more power the better, is that right?

mattyme:
thanks... ive not had chance to use it properly yet, but, its the C10000G-S model and at full extention it will pull around 4.5 tonne so i was told from winch solutions where i bought it. he also threw in a wireless remote for me, but it seems to leave the winch on for a fraction of a second after releasing the button, which could be tricky in precision situations.

ive unwound it and rewound it, thats about it at the mo.
im intendin to do a test pull before i need to use it but its findin somewhere to do it.
ive also been told to oil the cable well on the inner coils to prevent rusting as much as possible, which is logically a good idea!!
