once removed nut, place a block of wood on shaft and give it a tap while someone pulls, should come off easy
ian_s:
leave the nut on a few turns!
they hurt quite a bit if they suddenly come flying off and hit you in the face!
Budgie:
I've used the following on both my 90 & Disco and it worked. No special tools needed. :D
Undo the centre nut but, as Ian has said, leave it on a few turns to stop the wheel comming off at a great rate of knots.
Get inside the vehicle and grip the wheel in a 3 & 9 o'clock positions.
Pull on the wheel as hard as you can and try to shake the wheel by pulling first on one side then on the other in rapid movements.
With me it came loose within about 10 seconds.
It may not work but worth a try before the pullers and special tools come out.
ian_s:
thats how i did mine, and nearly got a broken nose.
