Range Rover Blues:
10 spline or 24 spline?

i havent got a clue , suppose you cant tell till its removed, i agve it a good run this aft, it actually got warmed up, the noise im explaining is like a droning noise,if anyone else has had the same
Range Rover Blues:
Dronong could be a wheel bearing too, or a bearing in the diff.
If yours is a 300 TDi then it'l probably be 24 spline.

Is there any transmission specialists in west yorkshire, where i can get a refurbished diff, or should i take up offers of second hand one's,

24 splines are dear matey. One of the local guys got one from HERE but you might try 4x41 (01924 849000) first as they sometimes have 2nd hand ones in and they are local........ I was certain my rear diff was noisy but it turned out to be the wheel bearings....
