CD Recorders

Bush Tucker Man:
Does anyone out there have one of these?

I've been looking at the Richer Sounds web-site (as they've got a shop in Leeds)
http://www.richersounds.com/

They've got some good deals on them.

1. Is the quality of recorded sound okay?
2. Is it totally dependant on the source?
3. Can it be audio-filtered at the recorder?

I've got software (& leads) for recording from the separates onto the PC, BUT........ they're 2 floors away from each other.
So a CD recorder sounds good.

I want to put all of my LP's & singles onto CD's

TULL:
Depends on brand,I used to run specialist HIFI shop, good products tended to come from marantz NAD most were based on  philips bits so one from them should be ok too What you doing with the records send us a list if you are selling as records always sound better.

Bush Tucker Man:
Thanks 'Tull'
I'm probably keeping them all.
It's just so I can play in my 'Snug', up here in the office & in the cars.

With a screen-name & signature like that I don't think I'll have anything in your line
(but then again pre-conceptions are always wrong :D   )

Range Rover Blues:
I remember when, after working out what it would cost to replace all my vinyl with CDs I went and bought a Lynn Sondeck LP12.
Never regretted it.

2 months after buying it I decided to upgrade my CD because the records were showing it up.

TULL:
You cant upgrade enough to equal a good turntable .
