just watching the news and it seems to be messing up quite alot of car's!!!

any one been caught out here.

Quinton wilson now on news saying if you own a range rover don't drive it as the ecu may becoe affected then thousands of pounds!!!

Probably wouldn't give a 2.25 any trouble.  :lol: This is why I dislike all these modern engines that are so intolerant of poor fuel.  :(

but surely it would be the petrol provider who should actually pay for any repairs to vehicles

Na, it's the retail outlet who pay for your repairs. As Quinton said on ITV News, it's not 'fit for purpose' therefore shouldn't be sold and is the petrol stations fault.
They, in turn, can claim back from their suppliers.

This just goes to prove what happens when you rely too much on electronics!  :lol:
