Free wheel hubs

LP32:
Hi new here but hope you can help?

I have a Vit and one free wheel hub wont shift between lock and un-lock although the other turns no problem.

The hub thats stuck is in lock the qustion is how do I free it up or is it shot?

hi m8 unbolt it from ur hub and strip down it maybe that they mechanisum has twisted or has siezed up duue to lack of grease
can be made to work if your lucky

I assume you just remove the alen bolts that can be seen( on the end) and Wd and re-grease. That said if its locked I am not fussed would just like it to work. Thanks for the quick response

id totally remove the whole hub of your wheel to see wots going on
if the centre trister bit dont move after a clean or dunkin in derv DONT force it as it will snap if to much pressure is applyed

I have just done mine on the Vit, cleaned and re-greased, bit tricky getting it all back in with all the grease though, just make sure the springs line up on twister to spline as this is what dissengages the drive when you turn it to free........Not difficult to do at all.......I am going to drill and tap some 6mm holes in the 410 hub twister's so I can fit grease nipples
