8) One of the reasons i bought the truck was to go and play in the sand dunes in Morocco!!! I didn't want it taking the power from me half way up a dune   Cheers for the advice guys  cant wait to get out and boot it through some mud

Petergg:
I have driven in the Dune's of the Erg Chebbi (Morocco ) many time's with a defender with T/C best thing is 1bar tyre pressure and pull the t/c fuse out or as you say you are braking going up hill.

Yeah i pulled the fuse out over the weekend whilst playing just to see what happened, all i got was the T/C and Park brake lights show up on the dash. Everything else seemed work as normally  :D
I was thinking of putting it on a switch, just to make it a bit easier. Ive got air con and getting to the fuses can be a bit awkward!!

Devon-Rover:
For sand it seemed to be better to pull the TC fuse.

As in the words of V, cobley. whilst out in morocco in 05.

Drive it like you stole it
