Tyres - again!
TechnoTurkey:
I'm used to running 7.50 x 16s on my Land Rovers, I want to get some new tyres at some point for the 110s but want radials for obvious reasons.
Whats the equv size to 7.50s and what would be the same but perhaps a little wider?
Thanks
Eeyore:
You'll be looking for a 235/85 x 16. These'll be a gnats taller than the 7.50x16.
If you want to go wider still, then the 265/75x16 will be the next nearest diameter to the 7.50, although it is a slightly smaller diameter (but will offer that increase in width over the 235).
I don't know what rims you're running, but it could be worth a quick troll around the various tyre manufacturers site to try and find out the minimum rim width they'd recommend for thier tyres - it can vary between manufacturers.

Thanks Eeyore - I'd be running them on Wolf Rims.
Muddy:
i think you could fit some 255/85/16's which would be slightly wider than the 235(well obciously i suppose  ) but a little taller thus increasing your gearing so it would cruise better, look a little better on the wider tyres and i dont think you will have any clearence issues aslong as your not going seriously off road.
TechnoTurkey:
Thanks Muddy - I will be putting it through it's paces off road so wouldnt want anything that will catch, although a 1" lift would probably fix that anyway.
