i made my own downpipe out the cast elbow to allow the fitment of a modded disco front pipe, only thing i found was after a hard landing offroad the exhaust would drop off

as yours is a TD to start with reuse the oil cooler pipes

the radiator is in the same place & the oil filter housing is in the same place

if they dont fit (they should) get a pair of defender tdi oil cooler pipes as they go straighty in

Muddy:
AFAIK a td5 downpipe cn be cut and shut to make your own, will take a few hours but defo cheaper.

dont see how as they go straight down but hey

Muddy:
I think you can cut some wedges out and weld up mike i know it wont fit as standard.

So if i bought a disco 200 tdi engine and bought an exhaust from steve parkers, the it would be pretty simple afterwards? There is also another kit to convert but its like £300 - odd quid  :o  !!! Need to do it on a budget of £600 and then replace the gearbox!
