I believe there is at least one freelander coming to the next drum clog although its a long way to go just to watch.......... as for Guardian's  list of must haves............hmmmm nice try fella  There are a few things near you though from what I remember so if you keep watching the pay and play and green lane sections I am sure you will find something soon. Most of the people on here would be more than willing to help in any way and if you wanted to join in they would also be happy to advise and if necessary recover you if you got stuck

Check out Kirton Off Road Centre near Scunthorpe (link) come along to the next pay and play and park up in the car park you can walk around and check out what people are up to and if you spot me in this then flag me down and you can have a ride around.
Actually if you ask at the office im sure someone will oblige to take you for a spin around the site 8)
If your feeling really daring take the freebie round theres loads of easy stuff to do so just take it as you go! :)

There is a pay and play not that far from you that you could go down to for a look without having to get dirty in cheshire.  They allow people in to watch in a safe area.  Its not a extreme off road site but is good fun, you would be able to get roundquite a bit of it in a freelander.  Just watch out for the water!

i wont be going there in feb, but may go back in march to take a few friends/family round.  Have a look at their website.
