Will 7.50 fit Disco alloys

<< < (2/3) > >>

Cheggs:
So If I did a 1" suspension lift with spacers ( would I need to get extended brake hoses) the bumpstops and a camel cut would the 7.50x 16 fit?

Jim-Willy:
I know a lad ran 7.50's without a lift on a 200tdi disco for ages.  he did camel the rear arches but a lift wasn't required.

ChrisW:
It probably depends on the actual vehicle, I'm just going on what is 'typically' needed, as Jim says he knows of someone who ran with them without any suspension mods.
Some vehicles will cope fine with a 2" lift, others will really not be very nice to drive afterwards at all.
Some may be ok with 7.50's, others will rip the arches out when you start articulating.
You may get away with it with a 1" lift, brake lines should be ok - you may just have to limit how far you go if you're out playing.

Jim-Willy:
Yep, we told him they would never fit but we were wrong lol.  They fitted fine and it was on fairly worn suspension until recently......

Mace:
In my personal experience having run 235/85's on my Disco (same diameter but slightly wider) you can run these tyres without suspension mods on standard Disco steel wheels but take it off road and camel cut or not they will catch the arches without a lift. 750's being slightly narrower maybe OK but my 235's were way off so I doubt it.
