Which land rover would you buy?

I will have about £1500 (tops) within a few weeks to buy a replacement land rover.  What would you buy?  If its diesel it must be turbo, if its v8 it must be lpg.  So I think the choices are, another tdi disco (maybe an old 300tdi?) a v8 range rover or a very old 110.  How bad is the 2.5td defender engine?  

Must have at least 3 seats, pref 5 with belts.  For offroad use and some road use but not needed as a main car, ie dont have to commute in it or anything.  

So come on, what would you buy?

I would stick with what i have, 3.9 LPG auto range rover :D much nicer :D

Series 2/2A/3, with a 2.25 Diesel or 2.5 N/A lump.  Not as bad as everyone often makes out because the ones they talk about are worn examples.

I do quite fancy a range rover.  Dont know if I would prefer a V8 on gas though.
