Brake pipe kit

Ok, so apart from the steering the Disco failed due to excessive corrosion in the quote: front to rear to ABS unit brake pipe. Does anyone know the best route to take in getting a replacement part or kit. Also if you know the part number (yes I know the description is vague but it's all I have) that could also help.  :D

I'm sure I could remove it (as soon as I work out which one he's talking about), but then I'd have no car to bring it to you   :?

OK Not got abs so not sure which one it is, have a word with the garage and ask them to point out the pipe, unless someone can help on here, but I wont be able to get any pipe now until Monday, so unless you want to use the motor leave it to then, you dont live too far from me anyway do you?


More than likely the unions will break off but keep them so we know what ends they are, same with the pipes ends as well as all the pipe length wise

Any (decent) garage will be able to make up the brake pipe for you, it will just be standard 3/16 copper pipe, less than £10 for a 25ft coil. The fittings will be standard metric brake pipe fittings.

You just bend it to shape as you fit it but you do need a flaring kit to fit the ends.

If you are keeping the truck, go for copper nickel pipe instead, not so easy to work with as it is tougher but lasts longer and is a little more expensive.
