ABS again chaps
landandy:
OK i have a smal problem. (the wife moans about it) When you slow down and break at a junction. Turning left (so you are turning slightly the ABS kicks in. You are hardly moving so not to big prob. Somtimes after this light on dash will come on and stay on. Also if you pull away slow it will not go out. But when tried out big time on ice worked fine. My idea is maybe gap is to big on one of sensors. If so how do i measure please.
tintin86:
if it is the air gap just give the top of the sensor a "hard"tap in to the hub it will adjust to the right airgap when you move off :)

I had similar thing, turned out the wire to the sesor had got caught in the springs and was intermittantly cutting out.
landandy:
will try both when snow goes in mean time will have some fun. :D
Tyke:
Got mine backed off on purpose . . . I really think ABS can be dangerous in many situations off road. Air gap is too wide to kick the abs in so if I want it on I just switch the ignition off and on when rolling in a straight line at normal road speed . . . . sorted
