I changed mine a while back... used a refurb kit rather than change the drop arm (cuz I couldn't get the 'kin thing off!), had difficulty getting the circlip in properly but managed in  the end... or so I thought...

Week later it was driving even sloppier... had a look underneath and the arse had dropped out of the ball joint!  :oops:

Was more careful the second time! :lol:

Range Rover Blues:
When we got Blue the muppet previous owner had spun the drag link so that the balljoint was rubbing the housing.  When I rectified this I discovered he had done it to eliminat ethe play in the balljoint rather than replace it before selling the car.
