what to do?
clbarclay:
I take it you have driven the (or a) 7?
As much as i like off roading, i would sooner have both off and on road pleasure. For those of you that haven't driven a 7 style car i sujest you beg\borrow or pay for a drive in one, the experiance is intense.

yeah i have driven a seven and it was fantastic. i would inted on getting a disco as an everyday car and still do some offroading, the discos are so much cheaper to buy than 90's i could sell the 90 and get the 7 and a disco
well that was my plan any way

That varies a lot with make and model, a fair few of them will seat 6+ feet tall medium to heavy built drivers surprisingly comfotably.

Do it
You can always get another defender if it turns out to be a bad idea... though running two cars often seems financially like running three.

How are you going to look after a sportscar without a gartage? With a bit of luck it will snow next week and that will help you make up your mind
