Can we rebuild him?

The previous owner fitted a Guardian rear bumper and decided that it would look better if the rear bottom-most part of the wing/panel was removed. You can kind of see what I mean in this picture.

this is what it used to look like.

It has been trimmed off right below the plastic trim. Would it be possible to reconstruct it either with steel/aluminium plate or chequer plate? Maybe attach it underneath the plastic trim?

anything is poss with a bit of time, like said try and reconstruct under the rubber strip, weather you could ally weld a peice of old wing in or even rivet ? maybee. alan.....

Rebuilding the panel neatly will be differcult
Maybe some chequer plate would suffice?

That's pretty much what I was thinking - as it would match the rest then!
