Could try Lancaster Insurance for a quick quote on line. Mine was £150 fully comp, though I am 44!

What S188 said was very true about young drivers with Land Rovers.

An issue I myself had was that my 2A is too old for most of the insurance companies.  Then the ones that would cover it would be doing it with their own classic car policy, which is no good to me as they always want you to be 21+ for that!

A Land Rover over thirty years old will pose great difficulty at being insured for an under twenty one year old.  :(

Fortunately NFU was able to provide a good deal, and my 2A is covered with fully comprehensive insurance for a total of £500.

jjsaul:
try NFU  :D

tho ring round as many places as possible

..and how old are you? (same goes for the other elders)

This chap who started the topic is going on seventeen.  As a result, insurance is a problem to even begin with!  It's no good giving suggestions to go to companies that only insure over 21s!  :?
