How true... Music seems to be sadly lacking strong vocalists at the moment, too easy to run them through a computer or seven I guess...
/me mourns the likes of anetha franklin, annie lennox, alyson moyet, chrissie hynd etc etc....

I'd add Sam Brown to that list. Stop was brilliant. She's underrated in my opinion.

Not as underrated as I thought then Neil. I've got it on a compilation of great stuff in the car. Great stuff these MP3 CD players.
