I'm going to claim back the penalty charges they charged me when I didn't pay my credit card bill straight away. The interest is fair enough, but the penalties are arbitrary.
Way2deep, if you follow the links to the BBC website and elsewhere you'll see exactly why people are claiming these charges back.

The reason that the flood gates have been opened is that the OFT (i think it were them) deemed the charges unacceptable as they were not a true reflection of how much it costed to inform you of the error. Also they deemed that they were not meant to be a financial penalty.
But alot of people have been doing it for months and months!

Just applied for six years worth of statements :lol: getting charged £5 for them but I'm always going overdrawn so its gotta be worth it
I can feel some arb's and an 8274 coming 8)
