Modifying a Freelander
JeepCher53:
If there are no fixings with the A Frame, it's going to be really difficult to do. Fixings included would clinch the deal.

Esther,
Sorry in the delay in getting back to you (been a bit busy of late due to personal reasons)......
When my brother bought the A-bar, it didn't come with the fittings... I think that the plan was (that I?) made up the fittings as needed.
However, as my brothers Freelander is soon to be no more, this is unlikely to happen.
Phoned Safety Devices this morning, who make the A-bar, and I can buy the necessary fitting kit for £50 + vat and carriage, so looking at around £65.00 (may be able get a slight discount) – will take up to two weeks to be delivered though.
If you still wanted the A-bar, and I ordered the fittings, then it'll be about £290 all in.
Sorry again in the delay,
Ian

Hi Ian
Unfortunately, I managed to get one from Bearmach in Cardiff at a good discount. Need some good weather to fix it now :?
Thanks anyway
