413 diff into a sammy
« on: January 23, 2007, 09:56:24 »
Hi all, I've pushed  the rear diff on my road going sammy as far as it would go and it finally gave out just down the road from my girlfriends house. My question is- i have a set of 413 diff's, will i have any problems fitting them into my sammy axles. Is there anything out of the norm i wil need to know or is it a simple swap. Secondly, I'm running 31" machos on 16" GV rims through a 410 T-box, how will the gearing change and will it be faster or slower on the road.
I'd appriciate any advice and time saving tips as I've got to do it on the side of the road and in the cold.

   Cheers
 Ian

Tha 413's will be a straight swap, I've had the rear one done in mine about 8 months ago and no probs, with your size of tyre it will go slightly quicker on the road but not by much, every little bit helps
