Would still go with Si and say stick an SU on it, my carb started off fine, till one day in the water then that was it! You could never tell if today was going to be a god day or a bad day. SU on and it run's like a kitten.

so why do you think it doesn't start? Is it starter motor broken problem, it'll bumb off very easiliy just not from the key.

Most probably the solanoid sticking.
Get the starter off and clean out the solenoid - very straightforward job :)
ben.williamson:
how do i clean out the solinoid
the muddy water was deep 3 foot and i played all day
in the water every half an hour
is it a good idea to spay the window thing on clutch
Damon:
Remove the starter, on the side of it is a "sticky-out-thing" this is the solenoid. Remove the 2 screws that hold this on, clean it all out, very lightly grease the plunger and refit :)
