generation-x:
larry why ar you considering using a paddle clutch?

simon

fudge:
The padle will just make the clutch a little "Sharp" but mine can be ridden.... pm V8moneypit (steve) he has a paddle in a 413 and uses the truck when ever the V8 110 is out of squirt.... so thats daily then!

larry:
Will need a clutch soon want whats best really

V8MoneyPit:
The standard SJ clutch is, without doubt, a weak point. I use my Samurai regularly without too much issue. As Fudge says, the paddle plate is a bit 'sharper' at the biting point, but you soon get used to it. And it has never slipped. The standard clutch used to slip at the slightest sign of a rock to climb over

Difflock:
one of the lads has just bought a 413,got it cheap coz.................the clutch is sh***ed     ,these paddle clutches your all talkin about, where can he get one from coz he's talkin of takin it off road and are these the same as the ones I used to put in my rallying Mk2 escort  :?: ,they look like a star fish with sintered bronze square blocks on the end of the "fingers",now that used to have a "sharp" clutch until you got it warm then it was fine
Any info would be great
