Ground clearance under the diffs usually, plus they look cool, change your gearing and generally have more agressive tread patterns :)

Mine dont rub at all. And as said, the real advantage is the greater clearence between the floor and the diffs. Also, they give you a nicer ride. I had 235 85 16's on mine before the 33's. And they definately ride better.

you should easily get 35" tyres on there but you may have to trim the plastic arches a little and adjust the lock stops depending on the offset of the rims you are using and the tyre width.

consider raising the suspension an inch or 3 to make it look right
