What have I done wrong? (Rear Prop)
Disco Sev:
I have just replaced my 300 type rear prop with a (brand new) 200 type prop and diff flange. All went fairly straight forward I thought although I'm not sure if I fitted the mud shield correctly (just doesn't look right).
Come to drive it and it vibrates like hell in reverse not too bad going forward but terrible sound going over bumps or turning or decelerating :x
Haven't driven more than a few hundred yards and no more than about 20-30mph. Vehicle has a 2" lift but no other mods to suspension.
Just finished as it got cold and wet so looking to plan tomorrows attack

Were they the same length? Did you need the rubber doughnut between the flanges on the prop and the diff?

Yep. Props were same length and I didn't use the doughnut, that's what I wanted to get rid of :D

I assume so because it is new and the arrow marks are lined up.
