Transfer 'box trouble

Right.......

I have the centre console and associated foam, gaiter etc......  

I can see the linkages for both diff-lock (which has never worked incidentally) and the high low mech.  Everything looks in its place and no clean metal on rods to suggest any slippage.  The lever just travels too far forward and back before engaging any gear.......  then when the gearbox moves slightly under decel, the lever hts the gate and pops out.

I CANNOT SEE A GRUB SCREW however, and can't see a reference to it in Haynes or Rave CD.  

Where is it please??

UPDATE......

Berate me for not checking first........(awaiting beratement).........

....  but I have no low range at all!!  (my excuse is that the non standard, slightly protruding stereo led me to believe that it was a lever travel issue)

The mechanism seems to click into the low position, but there is no drive.  The 'click into low is much 'soggier' into the low position.

I presume this meens the 'box is duff??

Any advice appreciated.......  as you may have guessed; I am not a natural at this!?
