It looks like im going to order some of those insa turbo special tracks, im going for the 265/75/16's
but im also thinking of a 2" lift at the same time, what i would like to know is, is this kit any good? http://www.paddockspares.com/products.asp?tp=1&partno=DEFKIT1PFULL
remember, i do 50 miles a day on road so i realy dont want a massive lift, also i have found that if you go to high you start to get problems with the drive train. All i want is a good all round vehicle.

Many many people will dissagree with me but I'd avoid pro-comp shocks like the plague
I'm very keen to learn what the new "super gaz" shocks are like as they seem to be better made and have longer waranty than the pro-comp units
joker777:
I have to ask, why do you say this?
I had the Explorer ES9000 shock and the +2" rear springs on my LWB pajero and found them to be superb both on and off road.
Im not arguing bu im intrigued.

on My old 90 in my avatar i had OME shocks and springs and off roaded it very hard indeed i had them fitted for well over a year no worries and they guy i sold the truck to still runs them over 2 years after i sold it him
Then i bought the disco and thought i'd save some cash by gettin some pro-comps instead   they broke every time i went out off roadin either the eyelet would snap the threaded bar on the bottom would come off -Taught me the lesson of "you get what you pay for"
joker777:
fair play to you, OME is good stuf.
