Electric Seat problems...... Now Fixed!!!!

I have just purchased a 1990 Range Rover and am ironing out some problems.

The electric seats aren't functioning because the switchs aren't in place. Plus the wiring has been taken out of the little black boxes that fit into the switch assembly. I would like to refit the wires into these parts but i have no idea how they go.

Does anyone have a copy of an understandable wiring diagram, or photo, or a description.

do you know why they were disconnected? maybe a problem with them.

I hope that there isn't a problem.

However i have come up with a solution. In my local scrapyard there is Range Rover there that had elecric seats that still has its block connectors in place but no switchs. Take the wire cutters and hey presto i have something to follow.

As of last night, my electric seat problems have ended.

After replacing relays and fuses (that the Haynes  :evil: said nothing about), plus rebuilding the switches themselves. It is now all good.

Now for the tailgate........ it never ends.
