Tuff Toys do a coil & dizzy waterproofing set... they can be prone to melting if things like vaseline or other greases get on them... but I've had some success...  [-o<

The other thing is make sure your leads are in top notch order... was very embarresing my very first off road trip with Impala... and there everyone was... on the top of a welsh hillside... in the dark... looking at Blackpool illuminations after I'd tried to drive my 1984 RRC through a deep puddle!
