Strange electrics

I have a strange problem with my electrics, 1997 Tdi 300 S Disco.

Wipers won't work when screen wash is used.
Intermitent wipe won't work.
Interior light won't work.
Rear screen heater won't work.
Little red light around the ignition key won't work.
I think the rear door locks won't unlock but not sure.
Normal 2 speed wipers work.... but sometimes when turning off they will keep going for 1 or 2 minutes.

Get in the car this morning and ALL of the above problems are working!!
Is there a subtle link somewhere in the electrics that will lead me to the fault?
Is the car haunted?
Has anyone seen this problem before?
