Flood Patrol
laser_jock99:
Good depth of water in most of Warks fords this moring. The permanent fords are probably best avoided today (4 foot deep at Churchover). Also lots of water in the normally dry crossings.
Had to pull a transit van out the water at Kings Newnham (River Avon) on the way to work. I reckon he took it too quickly airfilter had become a water filter.......

The ford at the end of the village is normally dry but running about 18" at the moment. Even the next one up the river is flowing about 6". I have never seen water in this one before.
Went to look at the Shropham ford a week ago and it was at 90cms on the depth gauge. Didn't drive through it because we were in the Freelander! Dread to think what its at now
