Will it fit ??

Right, in pusuit of my loss of power and excessive smoke I removed the engine from the car and found the crank is past it, so I thought this would be a perfect time to recitfy all the other "little" problems with the car while sourcing a replacement crank, and all other required bits.

After removing the dashboard to sort out the wiring (previous owner has butchered it) and heater (or rather lack of heater), I wondered if a 300 dash would fit in its place, if i get all the switch gear, and a 300 heater moter.

Does any one know if this dash will go in ??

Or has anyone already changed over ??

don't see why not the basic measurements etc of the interior didn't change!

think there may be a few differnces to wiring etc, but nothing that cant be got round..
also puts the stereo in a batter position ;)
ps dont forget the centre console too -

wiring is not an issue as most will have to be replaced anyway, it has been butchered beyond recognition by previous owner....
