Bed in a 90

(1/3) > >>

jamesledingham:
I saw in this month's LROI that the chap showing the green lanes on the Wirral had a bed in the back of his 90.

Has anyone done this? How easy was it to fabricate?

Dave:
I saw that, looks very easy to do some bits of wood but his did not look that strong also you would have to make it over the front seat for the length or if your 4ft then thats all right.

jamesledingham:
That was the bit that confused me. Either he's a midget, or anyone who wants to use the passenger seat has to be. It looked to be more than just removing the headrest didn't it!

Mudmonkey:
You could build it so it hinges where the rear bulkhead is so then when its not in use it would fold back on itself and when you are using it you recline the passenger seat all the way forward and fold the hinged part out. 8)

jamesledingham:
Duh!

Of course - I didn't think to fold the passger seat forwards!!

I guess the (other) difficult bit would be where to have the supports!
